Admin Trim Interface v1.0 (new)

I’d like to announce the first official release of the Admin Trim Interface plugin (v1.0) for WordPress.

Customize the WordPress admin pages by selectively removing interface elements.

For more details, instructions, screenshots, and the download link, visit the plugin’s official homepage at :
coffee2code.com/wp-plugins/admin-trim-interface.

This is my 66th plugin release.

Comments welcome on this post for this version of the plugin. Comments will be closed once this release has been superseded by another.

Excellent plugin. I encountered a bug. Hiding the user profile link does not seem to work. I use WP 2.8.2, dutch translation. For further info you can contact me by email.

Ah, I can see how that particular issue arises for localized WP installations. I will be releasing an updated version of the plugin soon. Thanks for reporting!

I definitely agree with Andre, this is an excellent plugin!

After having a look at the amazingly clean code, I created a quick fix for the bug reported by Andre:

dl.getdropbox.com/u/232786/admin_trim_fixes.diff

This diff also contains some other changes: Also hide the topmost separator when hiding the Dashboard menu item, because this imho looks even cleaner. Fix the “Hide contextual ‘Help’ link” feature. Minor indentation fix. Remove logo as the file doesn’t seem to exist. Translate the ‘Save Changes’ button.
