I’d like to announce the first official release of the Custom Admin Post Listing plugin (v1.1) for WordPress.
Configure the post listing fields shown in the admin section under Manage → Posts by removing existing columns or adding columns consisting of custom field data.
The plugin’s official homepage is located at :
coffee2code.com/wp-plugins/custom-admin-post-listing.
This new plugin is part of coffee2code’s 14 Days of Plugins (new plugin #4).
Comments welcome on this post for this version of the plugin. Comments will be closed once this release has been superseded by another.

Oh! I love this plugin so much. Congrats for the great work, and I’m looking forward to seeing the other plugins too! Thank you for your dedication.
Great plugin–thanks for creating it. I was wondering how hard it would be to add an option to add a column that displays post numbers. I plan to use your post-to-post link plugin, and it would be really helpful to generate a list of posts that includes post numbers.
One other question: are there any plans to implement this for the *page* listing? I have a site that is mostly pages, and I would really like to customize the page listing as well.
I second Dan’s request. I found another plugin (Reveal IDs for WP Admin 2.5) that just adds IDs. That’s probably a good way to go since it deals with all IDs, not just for posts, and it allows you to customize it based on roles.
Anyway, nice plugin. Thanks.
Great plug-in Scott. Would it be easy to add a feature where you could designate a column by which to sort posts (e.g. sort by title intead of date or id)? Or is that a whole different task?
Such a great plugin! But, why not for Pages?
