			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Recently I came across a listing of <a href="http://rubyonrails.org" title="Ruby on Rails">Rails</a> contributors <a href="http://rails-contributors.hashref.com/contributors">ranked over all time</a> by their number of contributions.  Unexpectedly, I&#8217;m currently tied for 85th out of 1,376 contributors.  The rankings are by no means rigorous, based on props/hat-tips parsed from the commit logs.  And as such the consideration is quantity versus quality based.  Nonetheless, color me pleasantly surprised.  It&#8217;s been a few years since I&#8217;ve contributed to Rails core, though I&#8217;ve been using the framework fairly regularly in the intervening time. </p>
<p>Looking forward to spending even more time with it in the near future.  And looking forward to the changes leading up to Rails 3.</p>]]></content:encoded>
