I have Wordpress 2.7.1, and am using the theme "Free Wedding Theme 1.0" by Easy Wedding Search. Installing and activating this plugin did not remove the search box nor did it prevent me from performing searches. This plugin is a great idea, but sadly it does not seem to work for me.
