A note for anyone taking a look at this plugin for use with WordPress 2.8 or later:

This plugin is no longer necessary as of WP 2.8. The features added by this plugin were added to WP in 2.8.

In WP 2.8, above the various admin pages that have listings (i.e. posts, pages, categories, etc), there is a “Screen Options” slide-down tab which provides access to a posts/pages/categories/etc per page setting that you can set for each section.

While the interface is different than what the plugin provides, the functionality is now built-in.

Of course, users still on 2.7+ will still want to use this plugin to get that functionality.

Thanks for the update westi! Hadn’t seen the commit logs for a few days so that one snuck by me. Good to see it added to the core.
