I’d like to announce the first official release of the Disable Directory Listings plugin (v1.0) for WordPress.
Prevent virtual directory listing services from listing the contents of directories, and/or show a page in place of a directory’s listing.
The plugin’s official homepage is located at :

This new plugin is part of coffee2code’s 14 Days of Plugins (new plugin #8).

This plugin has really been helpful for me since I have lots of blogs and websites. Sometimes I forget which directory needs a fake .index to cover the files but disable directory listings does the job in seconds 🙂
